Your checklist for getting ready to rent

    For social and mid-market rental homes, you’ll need a DigiD with SMS verification enabled, as the DigiD app alone is not sufficient. It’s also worth checking in advance whether SMS verification is switched on via  www.digid.nl/inlogmethodes/sms-controle.

     

2. Research and orientation

  • Clarify your housing preferences
    Be clear about what you’re looking for, such as the number of bedrooms, your preferred floor, and the type of outdoor space you’d like. Make a list of your must-haves and nice-to-haves, as this will help you make quick and confident decisions when the time comes.
